How the Innovation Lab Works
The Innovation Lab is where trust research meets real-world design. We combine internal company teams with external contributors — designers, data scientists, policy experts, and researchers — to explore responsible AI in practice, not just in theory.
Teams work as researchers, using insights and data from Trust Audits, compliance assessments, and field studies. Our research combines quantitative analysis, qualitative inquiry, co-creation, ethnographic exploration, and creative design methods to understand how trust is built, broken, and restored in digital systems.
Hackathon-Style Workshops
Rapid prototyping and testing over 2–5 days. Teams generate concept pitches, test assumptions, and deliver early results — like designing friction patterns for high-risk decisions or mapping accessibility requirements to interface components.
Extended Research Sprints
Deep frameworks built over 4–12 weeks. These produce governance models, integration strategies, new workflows, and product or service innovations that address complex trust challenges at scale.
What We Create
The lab doesn't just publish papers. We build tools, templates, and design systems that teams can use immediately — from consent flow libraries to compliance documentation generators. Every output is tested with real users and validated against regulatory standards.
